I'm leaving on vacation tomorrow, and seeing an Iron Maiden + Dream Theater concert. I won't be surprised if my head explodes from sheer awesomeness. I won't be back home until next Thursday.

I listened to the whole (I think) album on youtube, it has some interesting songs. But, IMO I would not rank it as one of the best power metal album I've ever heard. (everyone has their own tastes)

I didn't say the songs were bad, they are interesting things in nearly each songs and for example the intro of The Shadow Hunter is awesome (the whole song is awesome too ) ! What I mean is I am not a fan of the album, it is still pretty good and worth listening !

That concert was amazingly good. It was an epicly awesome epic of awesome epicness. Great setlists, too. DT played As I Am, A Rite Of Passage, Home, Constant Motion, Panic Attack, and Pull Me Under. Maiden played The Wicker Man, Ghost of the Navigator, Wrathchild, El Dorado, Dance of Death, The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg, These Colours Don't Run, Blood Brothers, Wildest Dreams, No More Lies, Brave New World, Fear of the Dark, Iron Maiden, The Number Of The Beast, Hallowed Be Thy Name, and Running Free. I was a little disappointed that they didn't do any songs from Piece Of Mind or Powerslave, but they more than made up for it with the rest of their set.
Ok, I just have to say, it isn't "metal" as much as Hard Rock, but Disciple's latest album Horshoes and Handgrenades is freaking awesome.

This CD is taking a really unneccessarily long time to upload to iTunes. As in, I put it in last night, and it said 15 minutes for the first track. Two and a half hours later, it finished the first track. The next morning, it was just starting the 6th track, and the other four it had done didn't play right. It plays fine in a CD player, though, so I know it's not the disk. Just restarted the computer and tried again, and it's not going much faster. Ugh. Just had to vent that.
oh... wow! lol.

It's Dream Theater's Octavarium, but I'm pretty sure it's just a problem with my disk drive or something. I'm thinking about trying it on a different computer, then putting the tracks on a flashdrive and transferring them.
I had to utilize that technique for 2 CDs out of over 700 in my collection that I've uploaded. I'm not sure why my computer had problems with those particular CDs, but it did. Hopefully it's just a fluke and not the disk drive.
