Yeah, but you've got people like Jordin who can belt shit out and then go do the ballads perfectly fine. And personally I'd prefer someone who can't belt things out like LaKisha can, but can sing at a middle range and be able to do softer songs well.

If we're going by talent alone the top three would be Melinda > Jordin >>> LaKisha.

I lost any and all interest in that fucking show when Gina got kicked off. Fucking horseshit.

I had never watched the show before this season, and I will never watch it again, to protest the unjust booting of Gina. Seriously, though, it's a pretty brilliantly marketed show. I would never have watched it if it was just the singing contest, but the auditions are funny shit, and that's how they suck you in.

what i think gives lakisha the edge though, is the sob story. especially the story she told on country day.
