We got early dismissal on account of a "faculty development conference".

When I was in high school we had those every other week. Ohhh how I loved them.

and if you drive to school when you live only five minutes away, the only excuse is if you have no legs or because of the weather. I live ten minutes away from the high school I went to and I walked everyday for four years (I sound like an old man)
