i was a total band geek in high school. even took AP music theory.

and i really dont have any ground to call you gay for being in choir. i played flute. but i bet we had similar experiences. lone guy in a section full of chics hehehehe

I took AP Music Theory as well...out of the 12 people in the class, 3 took the test (myself included), and only one passed (my best friend). I got a 2.

I was in jazz band in high school. Greatest.Class.Ever. We never did anything. we would just sit around, play cards, listen to music and jam. good times.

yeah, i didnt take the test. i was poor. i prolly coulda passed it though. doesnt matter, i only did a year of college, so it really wouldnt have counted for anything

speaking of the movie pathfinder. has anyone seen the trailer? what is everyones take on it? based on what ive seen, it seems like a completly fictional portayal of the vikings. demonizing them for the millionth time in history. but i think ill still see it, just to give it a fair shake.

secondly, is there any evidence to support the idea of vikings taking native americans as slaves? ive always thought that the vikings came, thought it was valhala, then left because they could not survive.

I hadn't even heard of the movie until just now. I watched the trailer, and it looks like utter shite. I'm not sure how historically correct it is, but aside from that the story just sounds like crap.

movie looks so dumb.

I dont know about the slave part. I think they had problems with the natives though.
Im sure they didnt have a problem surviving though.
