Official Hockey (NHL) thread

That guy´s been insanely good lately, watched a game against the senators and he completely dominated the game.

I used to be a huge hockey fan, but now I find it difficult to care.

I just have to say I HATE the new NHL uniforms!

With the exception of Washington, and the teams that didn't change their designs....95% of the teams' uniforms look fucking awful. They ruined them! Most of the team's white uniforms have only a logo, and maybe a stripe somewhere - they are incredibly plain, simplistic, and resemble practice jerseys.

I liked it when the Sabres had goat-heads on their jerseys and their best player was named Satan.

Yah those were pretty cool, I liked the ones they had prior to that best though. Buffalo's new uniforms look like college uniforms, with a slug for a logo.

GO DEVILS FUCK OFF THE REST

:kickass:

Honestly though, ever since the Sharks picked up Campbell and Marleau stepped up his game they've have been amazing. I'm going with them for the cup this year. The Sharks have Great passing, defense, and scoring ability.

Also, they have Nabokov.

Detroit fan over here *awaits massive flammage*. We have lost our last two against shitty teams, but prior to that we were on a 5 game winning streak and we still are number 1 in the league. Once we get Homer, Cleary and others back in the line-up I really think that we will have a great chance for a run at the cup, despite all the doubters.

Also, Johan Franzen has played amazingly well as of late. So long as the team doesn't slump going into the playoffs I have faith that we will do well.

Wtf? Detroit has Homer, one of NHL´s most underrated players, never gets the credit he deserves for his incredibly hard work. And they also have the best defenseman in the leauge.

This. Also, Rafalski is another top tier defenseman as well. Picking up Stuart at the deadline was a good move as well, as our defensive corps needs some more physically punishing players.

Cleary is another highly underrated but highly productive player, the team hasn't been the same since they lost him in that Toronto game a month ago.
