Opeth/Tool summer Festival?!

anyone think that'd be possible?

anyone else as excited about this new TOOL album as me?
Christ if the new Tool sounds anything like Lateralus, I will be soooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy.

anything is possible at a big festival!

i am not a big fan of tool, but i respect them for what they do.

Album should be out in April. I have been waiting for it since 2002. I missed the tour then, but satan himself can't stop me this time.

Gotta respect tool for what they do for the industry in pushing mainstream rock/metal beyond established formulas.

Mikael. You and I both know that you want to play with Tool. You guys are both playing at the Roskilde festival, that's a perfect opportunity to rub elbows with maynard and the boys (danny carey mostly) and set up a nice little tour! Everyone in the entire universe would benefit from this, I've done the research. Please, for the love of all that is good in this world set up a tour with Tool!

Opeth and Tool together would be amazing. I use to absolutley love Tool but have somewhat fizzled away from them in the past year or two. Maybe it's just the lack new material but hopefully this new album coming out will be fantastic.

p.s. does anybody know if Alex Grey is doing the artwork for the album coming out? He is my favorite artist and I can only imagine what ideas he'd have for the new Tool album.

I hope the new Tool album is better and more interesting than Lateralus. It's a good album but way overrated and not to mention it drags on WAY longer than it needs to.

Everyone really would benefit from this.

It would be one of the great tours of our time, but I can't see Opeth wanting to start opening for other bands at this point in their career again, though if Mikael wants exposure this would be the way to go.
