Pathfinder Promotions presents...

Of course I want to go, but not with you

This looks like a great bill. Theocracy and Halcyon Way are both good bands. I think I met one of the guy from Vitriol outside of the Opeth show a few months ago and he seemed like a cool person, so I'm interested in hearing their music.

Good call! His name was Jason, wasn't it? He was the one talking about how disappointed he was with Lamb of God's performance and wrote Vitriol's myspace on my arm in sharpie...

PS Brian you suck. :Smug: I'll get someone else to come with me.

As an aside, Eclipsed by Sanity will be playing a show next Saturday Jan 6th in Villa Rica, GA at a new all ages venue called Insomnia. I didn't book this show, but they are playing with a couple of brutal/hardcore bands - if anyone is into that stuff - and they're also playing with a band called Dead Rites, who are heavily influenced by Danzig.

Anyway, if you find yourself on the west side of the ATL with nothing better to do next weekend, find your way to Insomnia and watch Eclipsed by Sanity destroy the place with a heavy dose of TRUE METAL!!!

:kickass:

check the Insomnia website for directions

E.b.S. are scheduled to destroy the stage at 8:30PM.

I'm sure if you ask Su nice enough she'll go with you. And we won't tell Sandi, either. ;)

Haha, I think Sandi prefers not to know all about what mischief my metal friends get me in. CMI should represent all the same - I want to see all of you there! Did you hear Su shriek when I told her to see that Pagan's Mind was announced?

Whenever the subject comes up, she gives me that "I should ask, but I don't want to know" look. :)

Yes - and I was on the other side of the building, too. :D

I'm stoked about this show as well....because it's on my birthday!!!! So everyone show up and tell me how old and decrepit I look!!!!! Also....you will have the vast privilege of seeing my NEW Christmas present.....a Brian Moore Custom Shop C-55 guitar that is more metal than should be allowed!!!!! All will bow down to their digital ruler. Actually, "here" will suffice - and it will be short for "here I am. rock you like a hurricane".

Ok guys we finally got the mastered copy of the cd we have been working on for about 3 months now, yesterday. All i can say is that we are amazed with the way it turned out. Go to: www.myspace.com/oblivionmyth and tell us what you think. See u guys in feb.

*bump* friendly reminder for this great local metal show.

make your plans now to attend. And please try to contact one of the bands on the roster for tickets if you can. They receive a percentage of their own tickets sales. And I receive nothing, except the satisfaction of lining up a great metal show! :kickass:

So come on out and support the local true metal scene with your ProgPower friends and family!

I didn't want to start a new thread, but also wanted to remind the ATL locals of the show this weekend that includes Eclipsed by Sanity. This show is at the new all ages venue Insomnia (click for directions in their blog).

The show is Saturday Jan 6th, and includes E.b.S. (8:30PM) in support of other locals bands Dead Rites and Well of Remorse.

So c'mon out and do a lot of this:  And be sure to tell the venue that you are there to see Eclipsed by Sanity!

Thanks,

~Hoyt.

...so I went to an Eclipsed by Sanity rehearsal last night... and an Oblivion Myth show broke out!

heh heh, I just wanted to thank Keith (lead guitarist of O:M), Patrick (drummer of O:M), and their stage manager Lee for making the drive down from Nashville TN yesterday for a visit. I had a blast hanging out with you guys at the E.b.S. rehearsal. That ad-lib joint rendition of Aces High was killer! I just wish I had brought a camera. dammit! :erk:

It's going to be an amazing show on Feb 17th! I can't wait! :kickass:

And Patrick, you're a freakin' demon on those drums! :heh: Jeez! Everyone can forget the babyface nice guy they may have met at past PPUSA shows. When Patrick gets behind that drum kit, he turns into a monster! Holy crap!

Alright, tomorrow night, everyone be at the Insomnia venue in Villa Rica, GA. This may be your only chance to see it before Eclipsed by Sanity destroys the place! :Smug:

LOL.

~Hoyt.

Im sure everyone will be waiting until February 17th to make their judgement about Eclipsed By Sanity, but if you're bored and have nothing to do by all means come check us out. I can't guarantee the sound system will be awesome there, but we will do our best aside from any technical issues that might try to bring us down.

Oh yeah and it was great going through Ace's High with the joined forces that I'll refer to as "Eclipsed by Oblivion".

Remember folks, tonight it's E.b.S. (traditional thrash/power metal) @ 8:30PM in support of local bands Dead Rites (Danzig style metal band) and Well of Remorse (brutal as hell!).

So c'mon out to the Insomnia Venue and do a lot of this:

And be sure to tell them at the door that you are there to see:

Thanks,

Definitely, we all had as much fun as you did! :) Jamming to Aces High was killer with the E.B.S. guys too, and I wish we had a camera there too! As the other Patrick said, we'll refer to that project as Eclipsed by Oblivion. ;)

HAHA to the statement about me being the drums! :I guess you could say that whatever anger or frustrations I may have comes out behind the kit, so I can be the sweet babyface guy I am to everyone else the rest of the time.

Patrick,
Here is your chance to come out and see a show and pay your debt.
Hope some of the locals can make it out to this one as well. Again thanks to everyone on the forum for their support.:notworthy
