Pathfinder Promotions presents...

Rather than start a new thread, I just thought I'd mention that if you CAN'T make it out to the INCREDIBLE show on the 17th that Hoyt has lined up, Theocracy will be playing on the EAST side of Atlanta the weekend before at Club 29 with my band Brazen Angel. This obviously not to the same scale as Hoyt's bad ass show, but it's another opportunity for those in the area!

Hope to see you at one or the other!

make you a deal - I will come out to the Theocracy/Brazen Angel show if you come out to the Theocracy/Halcyon Way/E.b.S./Oblivion Myth/Vitriol show.

:goggly: whew, that was a mouthful. heh heh.

And everyone should come on out to BOTH shows! What a great week of metal in February! :kickass:

Yeah and people say there is NO scene here. We will show them this year. Me and the band have some great ideas brewing for the Atlanta locals. This year is going to be big year for Halcyon Way and for our friends.

We'll be attending both shows!! :kickass:

Need more shows at Club 29...... Spent New Year's Eve there and it's a great place, not to mention it's within cabbing distance!

www.myspace.com/randykienelmemorial - nationally known tattoo artist local to the Marietta/Dallas, GA area. I knew him myself, but it's been about 6 or 7 years since I saw him last. :erk:

Thanks. I think we've safely established that this is a different tattoo artist than the one we know....still, it's sad news. We got a few 'in memory' requests for this 'Loki' at WREKage the week after his passing.

Thanks to Sean Shields of Halcyon Way for the killer banner! :heh:

This is going to be a fun show. Can't wait to see Theocracy again. They are always great. This is going to be more of a party than a gig for me. So no worries. This show is really going to be unique. The crowds at these shows are just as entertaining as the bands. And hopefully we will be on the bigger stage for this show. They are supposed to have it finished by then. So that will be a bonus. I am really looking forward to hanging out with all of you at the show.

what a kickass poster! Damnit, I signed up ages ago to dance with sick little kids all night to raise money for the children's miracle network (http://marathon.gatech.edu/)
... would I be a terrible person if I backed out for this show?

Thanks! I designed it. That's what I do for a living.
But really, the sick kids are way more important. That's a no brainer. Besides that's why they make return engagements. We will have another show organized soon. No big deal. See next time.:)

Go with the sick kids. :) Even though my band (Oblivion Myth) is the only one not somewhat close to the area, Hoyt and we have plans to come back to the Atlanta area after this show assuming everything goes well, which it will. And when we do come back, I can get my copy of "The Human Equation" back haha just kidding. ;)

Just don't drop any F-bombs and we'll be cool. :D

A few nights ago, I heard a guest on WSB-AM nighttime talk-radio drop the S-bomb three times in quick succession......I damn near drove off the road! They wisely activated their dump button after that.

No problem. I know I don't have a problem with the F-Bomb. And of course you don't have a dump button, so I can imagine what tight rope walk it must feel like having bands in the studio. I had such a great time doing it, with Jon and Glen the last time we were in.

Actually its not a -huge- deal legally. But the station and school might care. Because of when Wrekage airs they are outside of the restrictions.

"The FCC has defined profanity as “including language so grossly offensive to members of the public who actually hear it as to amount to a nuisance.”

Like indecency, profane speech is prohibited on broadcast radio and television between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 p.m."

Also the FCC rules based on complaints. And who listening to Wrekage is going to complain... unless there are right wing organizations that sit there listening to such radios just for the right opportunity to make complaints to shut them down. I don't know.

Well, there IS a dump button in the studio...but nobody ever uses it.

Yeah, because Things Get Weird. ("Wow, the studio is now seven seconds in time ahead of the lobby!")

Cheiron, it's the school and station administration I worry about more than the FCC. The FCC can only fine us; the school could suspend WREKage.
