Recomend me some music! thread

Harsdstyle -> The Prophet or Noisecontrollers
Hardcore -> Noize Supressor / Paul Elstak

Both are nothing that you people are used to I think, but tis awesome.

Whats a good Warbringer album to start on? They were very good last night.
Newer one or older one?
Agreed with the guys on this one. the second is far superior, although I don't hate War Without End.

are better live... but that's true of lots of bands. I wouldn't say they suck on record, but they don't particularly stand out much from the pack...
As it should be. they owe their reputation to their being road dogs, and a first rate live band. I'd rather invest in a good live band and give them time to improve on their studio work, than invest in a band with good albums who's shows are shit and will probably never improve.

As for Death, you can't go wrong with any of them but I'd say go for The Sound of Perseverence and Spiritual Healing.

thanks for reminding me dave. I've not listened to Death in a good while. Time to remedy that. not that it's relevant, but i just realized that "remedy" and "remediation" likely stem from the same roots. can I get some nerd points, anyone?

Live in LA is all black..... It can't be the digi-pak ones, because those are the ones I have.... Are they? We need pictures man!

Alison Hell
Never, Neverland
Refresh The Demon
Epic Of War
Dr. Psycho

Those give a pretty good range from across the years.

Just for the lulz:

Kraf Dinner
Don't Bother Me
Brain Dance
My Precious Lunatic Asylum (this one is also pretty cool at the same time, I think its brutality is comical.)

Forget the five songs. Listen to their first four albums, Alice in Hell, Never, Neverland, Set the World on Fire and King of the Kill in their entirety instead.

Annihilator are without a doubt one of my top three thrash bands.

Triptykon are cool, I listened to them back when the tracks were first put up on the myspace. It's much like I'd expect Celtic Frost's next album after Monotheist to sound like...

As for Opeth, I'd recommend all the albums from My Arms, Your Hearse onwards. Not that I dislike the first and second album, it's just I think they really came into their own on My Arms, Your Hearse - and haven't really stopped progressing since.
