Recomend me some music! thread

For anyone who hasn't heard them, I quite like Nahemah, so aye, http://www.myspace.com/nahemahband

I was going to say that...

nvm, try Neverborne, a brand new mdm, or rather "post-mdm" band. they have released an Ep, and are going to release their debutalbum soon. http://www.myspace.com/neverborne

also "gwynbleidd", fusion of folk, black and death with similarities to opeth and moonsorrow. One album and one Ep released. http://www.myspace.com/gwynbleidd

both are available on spotify

Nahemah are oh so good, cannot wait to see them next week at Hellfest.

I'm rather loving Gwynbleidd if I'm honest, really good songs on their myspace! Will have to further investigate this band.

Om are my favourite there. When Sleep broke up they formed a new band with the first guitarist but that failed too.. So the two remaining members formed OM, which is just Sleep but the main instrument is bass. And an amazing band they are. They played a 6 hour concert in Jerusalem.

Shrinebuilder are a supergroup. Al from OM/Sleep on bass/vocals. Wino from Saint Vitus (and a million other bands) on guitar and vocals. Scott Kelly from Neurosis on guitar and vocals. And of course the legend Dale Crover from Melvins on drums. Best band line-up ever!

Om are amazing! I need to buy some of their albums soon

Demon's Souls Soundtrack

An amazing soundtrack to an equally amazing game, but sadly, its not available on disc, and iTunes and Amazon don't have the MP3's :\

Regardless, here's a few of the songs.

Another band that have decided to regroup for shits and giggles: Earthtone 9. They've done some pretty cool stuff over their short career, and to celebrate them getting back together they've made up a compilation album and are giving it away free to download. Or you can buy the cd pretty cheaply from them too.

anyone interested in some experimental death metal? try Persefone! they're from between spain and france (andorra) with a greek name playing scandanavian music and the the album has a japanese name. lots of jazzy guitars, tecnical riffing and japanese folk
