Recomend me some music! thread

To be fair, it's not Evile's fault. Blame Earache for being stingy with the budget I say - I highly doubt the band would've gona for such a DIY-looking promotional video if they had enough money to make something better.

Hmmmmmmmm I don't think money is THE defining factor on a vid. I mean, it is obviously, but you can make a good vid with few money as long as your concept fits your budget.

Well not really - I'm sure that you need to hire staff and equipment etc. on top of editing it, synching etc.

I've never shot a video myself but this is what I've been told. Personally, I reckon the Thrasher video could've been done so much better just by putting live footage in there.

I liked that one too, the whole concept of playing on an enclosed space is pretty cool for the song.

However, I do think the "More Than Meets The Eye" vid by Testament would be a hell of a lot better by adding:

a) Better editing.

b) Live footage

Such a senseless video can't go on par with such a cool song... it just can't...

I will listen to both Arise and Chaos AD. Thanks mates!

BENEATH THE REMAINS

Also, Persefone is awesome. I wanna get the rest of their albums, but DAMN they're expensive.

Schizophrenia, Beneath the Remins and Arise are pretty much the only Sepultura albums anone ever needs to own. Bestial Devastation is great too though.

Just avoid anything after Chaos A.D

Chaos A.D is really good for the most part, but there're a few tracks that let it down drastically. Still, anyone who agues against the likes of Territory is a fucking fool.

Well I've only listened to Refuse/Resist and soulfly played it live which was awesome, so I will give it a listen again when I get round to it.

More Death-Thrash first though.
