Recomend me some music! thread

Sepultura... looks like my Territory.

Just get everything they did with Max, I personally find something to like on every album (leave Roots and Chaos A.D. for last, since they're the most experimental ones).

When you listen to an album like Beneath The Remains, you know your life will never be the same...

And Derrick ??? I couldn't care less about him.

I just finished listening to my first Death album... (The Sound Of Perseverance)
and just.. Fuck yes.
So glad I randomly lurked on the first few pages of this thread.

I really like Flesh and the power it holds :D
anyways,
what's the next death album I should check out?
I was thinking maybe Leprosy..

Hmm yeah that;d be a good one. But after that listen through the albums from start to finished. They change gradually in style each time. Spiritual Healing would be my favourite cos it's sort of a mix of Leprosy and Human.

They're all great in their own way. Plus there is only seven albums and they're not hard to find. Great band Death. Once you've gotten into them you could check out Control Denied too. Chuck's band before he died. Similar in musical style to The Sound Of Perseverance but with a different vocalist.

I am going to recommend Bathory - Blood Fire Death. Its quite a thrashy album from a band that was originally an early black metal style band. Someone with more knowledge of them like Dave, might be able to recommend other albums but Blood Fire Death is going pretty well with me.

Can do :headbang:
But for now, it's Symbolic, then I will check out human, then.. others.
Edit: Decided to just say fuck, and listen to the whole discography today
2 hours and 50 minutes left to go...

I reccomend you guys check out Witchaven, really awesome american thrash band. Check them out on myspace, the page is nsfw though.

Finished the discography a few minutes ago..
:kickass: :kickass: :kickass: :kickass: :kickass: :kickass: :kickass: :kickass: :kickass: :kickass: :kickass: :kickass: :kickass: :kickass:
enough said.
The Sound Of Perseverance is still my favorite, and Leprosy and Scream Bloody Gore are my other two favorites. Now to listen to almost all of them again

TSoP is their best work I think. Saying that, every Death album is mandatory

Definitely, I love the vocals on this album. And yes, they should be mandatory.
"You can not listen to metal until you have heard every Death album"

I really don't see what all the fuss is about with Death.

That's exactly what I said last night, then I listened to the discography and was like, this is gold!
but I guess your opinion is your opinion :bah:
