Kreator, oh dear... I'm gonna get a flaming for this one

Anything up until Coma of Souls is certified gold. Nearly everything after it ranges from decent enough (the aforementioned Enemy of God) to absolutely dreadful (... the rest of it). Violent Revolution and Hordes of Chaos have their moments undoubtedly, but it's not the same band that did Coma of Souls. It's a completely different style, and though it's a good and rather interesting one it ultimately lacks in the songwriting department. I'd say get Enemy of God with slight caution, and if you like it then try Hordes of Chaos. then try Violent Revolution if you absolutely must. After that... stop. Renewel etc. are shite.

I realize that posting this on (what is generally a thrash forum) is kinda stupid as it's stating something that most people already know, but after listening to "Doomsday for the Deciever" earlier this afternoon, I gotta say...... GOD DAMN THAT ALBUM IS AWESOME. Fucking legendary album.

also just found out, while doing my Flotsam and Jetsam research , that Jason Newsted was in that band =\ didn't know that didn't know the whole band.

As with my previous post, this shouldn't need saying, but I'll say it anyway.

I just finished Heathen's "Victims of Deception", damn good album. Love the guitar tone, and the clean parts are awesome. Not to mention the tapping solos littered throughout the album.

New one is good except that one damn American flag-waving song... A Hero's Welcome. I deleted it from my phone and now the album is a lot better!

Funny Keenan, Timeless Cell is the song I don't like. The chorus is rubbish too. Nae a fan. My favourites are Hypnotized and Opiate For the Masses. And Guitarmony, it's one of the best instrumentals ever by anybody!

I think it's the greatest thrash EP ever released.
When most people think JJ they think "Gore" but if you ask me this is heaps and bounds better

A bump for those who liked Vindicator's Outbreak EP - try out this album. Nocturn's "Estranged Dimensions", very similar to what we do. Songs are long but if you can stick with it, it's a fucking killer album!

Seemed pretty cool, but the production isn't very good. May need to do some more research into this band though, I'm intruiged by what I heard.
