Recomend me some music! thread

They are all great. The Realm album may seem inaccessable at first but give it a few listens and you'll find it so goddamn rewarding, the tech riffage is unfuckingbelieveable.

The Heathen, well that should be mandatory, great album apart from the stupid theme-tune-esque major harmonies in the final song and the F&J 3-disc is grand, I well prefer the remixed version over the original.

Definitely chuck in By Inheritance aswell. I'd be surprised if you don't like it.

Dave, No Place for Disgrace isn't a bad album either despite the slightly weak production. It all went wrong for Flots after that. New album is utter pisswankage.

Agreed with all except the part about the harmonies on VoD... what? That album is as close to perfect as melodic thrash will ever get if you ask me. Thoguh i'm infuriated that I can't manage to replicate that EPIC guitar tone!!

Nothing wrong with that, surely? Each to their own when ti comes to guitar harmonies though, some people like 'em a certain way. Like bacon. or steak.

I might need to capture and interrogate Lee Altus until he divulges is secrets to getting that guitar tone. Just listened to Opiate of the Masses - FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK, what a crunch!!

Also, for recommendations, everyone should try out Deathwish from the UK - they broke up in the late eighties unfortunately, but they did two albums entitled "At the Edge of Damnation" (1987) and "Demon Preacher" (1988). Bother are fucking amazing despite their debut having some slightly off production.

Just finished "With Fear I Kiss the Burning Darkness" by At the Gates. Fantastic album, highly recommended!

Terminal Spirit Disease is my favorite, and With Fear I Kiss the Burning Darkness is quickly coming close to that. Slaughter of the Soul is badass too, but I think I like these other two more.

I'm boring and love Slaughter of the Soul too much, however Gardens of Grief is fantastic as well, also anyone into At the Gates should check out these covers

Wondered if anyone could recommend me any more Kreator? I've got Coma of Souls but I was looking more for things they would play live as I'm going to see them at bloodstock.
Thhaaaaaankyou in advance ^^

The only album I have besides the amazing Coma of Souls, is Terrible Certainty. Definitely a badass album.
