Recommend me some Emotional Death Metal

Hey, I don't know all the ins and outs of British culture, but we God fearing Americans will have no part in your sadistic, sideways fucking. MISSIONARY ONLY.

I haven't many death metal CDs, but I've a few Amon Amarth, and I've got to say, for all the grunting and heaviness there it sure does sound like they're sad sometimes, sort of proud too, but eh, emotional for sure.

Uhm its not death metal, but Edguy's "Lavatory Love Machine"s a pretty great song. I mean its not really what I'd call emotional, and not death metal, but one of my friends described it as 'Making you feel all warm and fuzzy inside'. Doesn't really help, huh.

Edge of Sanity -crimson,crimson 2,purgatory afterglow, the spectural sorrows. Unorthodox is about 5% melody so i'm not going to call it emotional death metal.

I COULD NOT HELP THEM

Recommendations:

Cenotaph (related to The Chasm region-wise, being from Mexico and all... and also musically as well, through their exploration of mood through deep use of melody and texture, check out "Gloomy Reflections of Our Hidden Sorrows" and "Riding Our Black Oceans")

Phlebotomized (avant-garde death metal band from the netherlands who have expnaisve orchestral parts which give off an emotional and esoteric effect; check out "Immense Intense Suspense")

Creepmime (criminally-underrated death metal band who have a very doom-influenced sound backed with catchy muscular riffs; the atmosphere can be described as epic and sorrowful... "Shadows" is their best album)

Cadaver (not quite sure if this fits the bill as being "emotional" but I find there is certainly something stimulating and recondite about their unqiue syncopated power-chord approach to songwriting... check out "...In Pains")

I also highly recommend this band. They are, by far, one of the best death metal bands I've ever had the pleasure to hear. Get this and Amon Amarth's "Versus the World" and you'll be set.

They have a big lack in high throat screams and solo guitar i'd say.

I recall several Cannibal Corpse songs having guitar solos....

Staring Through The Eyes Of The Dead.
Shredded Humans
She Was Asking for it
Pick-Axe Murders
Sentenced To Burn

I know those ones do from memory. I liked it early on, but now it's just repeating shit they've already done several times. I'd rather listen to The Bleeding album than Inflames or any of that crap. More entertaining than Opeth by far.

Maybe the best list...
