Roadrunner about Ghost Reveries

Remember when Mikael said "The day we would limit ourselves or adapt to the music scene, would be the day Opeth dies."

Remember when Metallica said they would never make a music video?

Remember when Christians were a persecuted underground minority cult?

Things change! Don't be too sure Opeth won't!

:erk:

If Mikael is to say this is probably their finest work, with less repetetiveness, more thought going into it (Rather having to rush with finishing a songs and impromptly writing riffs) and god like riffage in the beginning of Ghost's of Perdition, I'll definitly take his word for it.

If Deliverance was Opeth's debut album, you'd still think it was impressive. Granted, Deliverance was a little weak for Opeth's standard, but it had some good parts. I like the album, as for the "mexican." He seems like he always has something funny to say that would probably piss Mikael off.

I was about to say that. Things change. Opeth changes. We can't know what's going to happen.

haha, can't wait till I see the expresion of those "fans" that only know Damnation when they hear the new album. "WTF? Opeth turned to metal too?"
