Yeah, I'll probably order it in the spring with a couple other CD's and an Emperor shirt. When I was at Tower Records in Nashville in November they had DMT, I just got Anthems instead. They had a couple Satyricon CD's including Rebel Extravaganza and Now, Diabolical.
I finally got Shadowthrone and I definetly like DMT better... but would also like to get Nemesis since everyone says that one is the best or just as good...
^Next black metal CD I'm getting will be The ShadowThrone, but there's so many great new death metal releases coming out I keep delaying buying it.
Get it. You'll like it. I especially like the last two tracks on the album. Did you get DMT yet also? .. btw which good DM albums are coming out that I should perhaps check out?... I prefer bands along the lines of Bloodbath...

The Shadowthrone was immense. It has more of a viking flavor than the ones around it and the riffs define black metal.

Volcano was the first album I bought of theirs but now after buying DMT and The Shadowthrone I realize I hate their current style and love their old style. Before I bought DMT and TST I was going to buy Volcano again because it got scratched. Now I'm not because compared to the first 3 albums that album sucked lol My next purchase will definetly be Nemesis....

I started with Nemesis Divina, and nothing I've heard since can touch it. Though I agree that DaRK Medieval Times is great, is there anyone lese who enjoys Rebel Extravaganza? "Tied In Bronze Chains" is a badass song, IMO.

Nemesis Divina has about 2 great songs and the rest of Satyricon is average. Let's close the thread, no?

Close it, didn't you bump it? Personally I am a huge fan of Satyricons rock/black metal. Then again I have a pretty open mind and am far from elitist, something Black Metallists are the worst for. Something to keep in mind is that when DMT came out Satyr who did practically everything but the drums was 17.

anyways I'm not a elitist by any definition of the word but I just don't like their Black n Roll style at all now that I heard their earlier style... If Satyr did those recordings at age 17 then he was one talented SOB & was really underrated.. and to bring Frost in with him also... but I definetly will be getting Nemesis because people keep recommending it and saying it's the best one out of the first three...
As of now have all Satyricon fullengths and enjoy them a lot. I do enjoy The Shadowthrone and Nemesis Divina the most.
I haven't got any Satyricon yet at all, new death metal releases I'm looking out for(that I haven't got yet) are Vital Remains's new CD which I think comes out tomorrow, Nile's new CD in late July, Dying Fetus's new one which came out, Morbid Angel may have one coming out, there's really been no news on it though.
