Since others have only mentioned preference towards Energetic Disassembly it'll be the one I nominate regardless.

Malevolent Creation simply is. That is an indisputable fact. In a typical discussion of Flordian OSDM, the bands mentioned will be Death, Morbid Angel, Deicide, Obituary, and Atheist, pretty much in that order. Malevolent Creation follows, having arrived a fair bit later than those and not nearly the same impact. Bonded By Blood's release delay may have lessened its impact as an album, but the songs from it were at the cutting edge of thrash metal in mid/late 1983 and early 1984. As I said, it takes a special kind of full retard to not only equate the two albums, but to lean in Malevolent Creation's favor.

And I consider Among the Living to be one of the worst "classic" thrash albums, and have hated it since my first listen. You're definitely confusing me with someone else on that point.

So do I, but I think Control and Resistance was further ahead of its time (despite proper progressive metal being non-existent in 1985) so that's why I nominated it the first time around.

All i said then and im still saying now is that i wont be voting for Control and Resistance any time soon. Thats not so hard to understand is it? What does me saying i prefer Energetic Dissasembly to CaR, that CaR has some of the worst vocals iv ever heard in my life, and Jarzombek being a good guitarist have to do with being inconsistent?

edit: and LMAO! off at you for still trying to prove some kind of point by saying that Malevolent Creation is a second-string band when your trying to fucking defend Exodus, the undisputed kings of the 2nd rate thrash.

Malevolent Creation's first three albums are as good as any usdm. It was voted off because I voted off a sabbath album (which I'd personally rank in the lower half of sabbath's albums, but apparently you guys like it, so that's fine) to put it on the list and that's some sort of injustice or something.

What's your point? Mine was in the context of The Ten Commandments being nominated, and it doesn't take much imagination to fill in albums for the other two bands, and isn't required anyways being that none of their albums are god-tier thrash like Bonded By Blood is.

Maybe WV doesnt have the greatest education system, but I probably recieved more personal attention from my teachers than most kids do in most places in the US. Classes were small, the teachers all knew your family personally, and everyone wanted to see you do well.
