i actually think The Somberlain should have been waaay higher on the list, its one of the greatest black metal albums of all time, and honestly should have been up there before all of the other black metal albums (minus A Blaze) on the list ... and i swear Agalloch being at #2 is just plain wrong and just dosn't fucking look right, sticks out like a sore thumb.

The Somberlain is an average album. I would give it a 6/10. The Mantle is a phenomenal album, but yeah, it does look funny at #2. Why do people like D666 so much? I really do not understand. What makes this band elite in the eyes of those voting for them?

DMDS is destroyed by an atrocious vocal performance. Still, its much more deserving of being on the list than D666.

Not a huge DMDS fan, but that sure as hell needs to go in before D666 or Fas. I'm still hoping that Atheist jumps it. I think that should have been been in already, but there were some pretty puzzling nominations early on. It should have certainly been among the first 20 or so nominees.
