I didnt say it is, but honestly, when we're making a list of "greatest metal albums of all time" you have to take everything into consideration, including how influential the album is.

And anyway, I think Master of Reality is muchh, muuuch better album than Stronghold and especially At the Heart of Winter, regardless of its influence.
 
From someone that has voted for Beneath the Remains a bazillion times, that is highly lolworthy.

And I don't think that anyone is arguing that Master of Reality is less important than those albums, or even any black metal albums for that matter.

No. Hell no, in fact. This list needs some progressive metal, but since a few wimps and posers can not handle the perfection that is Control & Resistance, I'll probably nominate a Voivod album next. Only for it to be removed in favor of Written in Waters or some other black metal album indebted to Voivod.

... and why would you even be mentioning how many times I voted for BtR when you've been voting for The Spectre Within non-stop?

Also, Control & Resistance is a pretty good album, but the vocals are fucking horrible. Regardless, i might vote for that album if it makes the list again. Ron Jarzombek is one of the greatest guitarists of all time IMO.
 
Because The Spectre Within was an influential and creative album and Beneath the Remains isn't remotely, which is the context in which my last post was made.
