what does everyone think of another Megadeth, Metallica, or Agalloch album, I know someone a page or two back said it's early for duplicates but we are missing some classic albums like Peace Sells, Ashes Against the Grain, And Justice. Also, would Dark Tranquility or Kampfar- Mellom Skogkledde Aaser be voted down if I were to add one?

Oops sorry bro. Peace Sells and Justice I'd vote for. Dark Tranquillity and Kampfar would be a no from me this early. Also too early for Ashes Against the Grain but I'd definitely vote for it later on, tbh.

I don't really like repeating bands either but in some cases it's necessary.
 
I might vote for Damage Done by DT. Actually, they are one of my favorite bands, so I'd probably vote for anything by them (excluding We Are the Void), but I think Damage Done would be the most qualified album of theirs in terms of best metal albums.

Phoenix/Crusade/OM

I know i'm voting incessantly for Phoenix, but it's one of my favourite albums - i think Unchain the Wolves is excellent as well, but this is a great record imo. I really believe Phoenix is one of the best extreme metal records from the last decade.

Dawn of Possession definitely deserves a nod imo as well. As does Pestilence, Demigod, Both Thrower & Coroner.

I've never been a fan of Mercyful Fate - i respect them, but it's not my thing.

Despite differing tastes and opinions, I think this thread is good fun.
