And add the extra rule that you cant give an album with exactly 2 votes a -2, that way when a new album is added, the next poster cant just scratch it off and add what they want and the cycle constantly repeat.

?

the -2 would really kill off albums a single person was constantly voting for... -1s really cant cut it when you cant negatively vote any album twice in a row and said poster can realistically give an album +6 each day by themselves.

Point being, the way it stands now, one persistent person can get any album on the list, it takes a fucking team to keep one off once it gets a couple votes. If this is meant to be taken even a little bit seriously, this seems like a problem.

I'm voting two for Enslaved, and minus one to D666, and that's it. I don't like the other choices at this point, really.

Albums like OM that have been spinning their wheels for a month now are just taking up space and keeping other worthy stuff from being included. OM was nominated way early on, and it got points when there were some weird albums to choose from. It's too high to vote down, but it's been lapped quickly by albums I nominated, like Morningrise and Unquestionable Presence.

It also irks me a bit that you shot down Forgotten Legends immediately and are giving Filosofem a pass because it's Burzum. This early on I would be less eager to repeat bands.

There have also been recent instances where he put +2 towards it repeatedly. Probably at first before the rule changed, but it happened again rather recently.

My alternative plan is you get two negatives to distribute as you wish only if you do not make a positive vote.

I've just checked and I did it once in error on P35 - how can i fix this so the second point goes against Immolation instead? Should i just amend my next vote?

I can't find any other instance (post the rule being implemented) that I've done this. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think it would be ok to have a double negative option, provided you did not use your +1 vote.

I don't mean to rag on you too hard. I think you get to take a point off of D666 and add one to anything else. You shouldn't be getting any extra negative points. I think when you ran 4 or 5 +2s in a row it was before the rules changed.

The current system works the same way, so there's really no difference there.
