AtHoW/Agalloch/Venom

Half the time I eject the CD right before Dante's Inferno. Just another generic Iced Earth song rewritten three times and connected in sequence. IIRC it's the only song on the album that really falls into the "triplet" stereotype that Schaffer is infamous for. All the songs in between are still decent/good, although I can never remember how they go. Lack of memorability and variety in song writing is a big problem with Iced Earth in general.

EDIT: Actually, I'm pretty sure that I like Diary and Burning Oasis a lot as well, but those are the ones everyone calls fillers. :(

So ok, still a good album, but I much prefer Night of the Stormrider and many other albums on the list.

I just don't think any Iced Earth album should be on the list this early. Also the best thing they did was Enter the Realm.

Burnt Offerings is my favorite Iced Earth album... I really like NotSR too... Horror Show... and although it probably technically doesnt count, Days of Purgatory.

Brainwashed is actually my favorite song by the band.

Edit: and... hurr durr iced earth doesnt belong.... lord loltimore.

Sir Lord Baltimore influenced a ton of doom bands, plus the fact that Kingdom Come was the first album to be called heavy metal by the press. Iced Earth haven't done nearly as much in metal as Sir Lord Baltimore did other then release a few decent to great albums.

tbh I would have voted them down had they not already been. As far as early 70's metal-ish stuff goes, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin are more deserving.

EDIT: Although if Burnt Offerings and Kingdom Come both had one vote I would have -1'd Iced Earth first.

Actually, this is consistently a lot of heavier than anything Led Zeppelin did, but I still say that In Rock needs a spot first.

Nosferatu sure as hell isnt... it's boring compared to Helstar's stuff that came before it... actually quite a few albums on that list arent that great.
