I've gotten some HelloFresh deliveries lately. First real cooking I've done in a year or two. Below is the highlight so far, zucchini flatbread with ricotta, basil, lemon juice, honey glaze, etc. I've also done shrimp scampi and tacos, both excellent.

First batch of incendiary hot sauce on the stove tonight.

habaneros, ripe Serrano, lemon drop pepper... orange juice, onion, garlic... a touch of whiskey for flavor.

I’ve been far too busy this summer to really give my garden the attention it needs but fuck I have thousands of peppers ready to be used. Haven’t been able to process them like I’d want with my wife’s pregnancy. Almost to the end now, she’s 36 weeks.

Nice effort. Salmon is very easy to over cook and turn to crap.
We're going fishing next weekend with the aim of catching a shitload of salmon.

here's a cute little advice - food photos that are taken as closeups with a cellphone camera almost never look good nor appetising, try to keep some distance :)
