The Most Consistant Band Ever.

I'd also have to agree with the Immortal suggestion, although I don't like their later stuff that much, most likely because I don't like heavy/thrash metal.

Emperor are pretty consistant aswell, although IX Equilbrium wasn't that great compared to their other cds.

The most consistent band ever is in my signature. Not because all their albums have the same sound (they're pretty much all different), but they are all good.

I came in here ready to post that! Awesome fucking band!

Hey wait what the fuck Death is consistent? Not in stylistic terms (began as gory death/thrash like every other death/thrash band from that time period in America, turned into wanky pseudo-death prog crap hybrid, then turned into even wankier nearly unlistenable bullshit in the end).

Even though each album is pretty fucking different. Compare Hatebreeder with the new one.

haven't heard the new one. but hatebreeder, follow the reaper and hatecrew deathroll (or whatever it was called) all sounded the same.

I actually purchased Follow the Reaper. It goes on the list of the top 20 worst albums I've purchased, but the title track was nice.

But yeah, I also borrowed Hate Crew Deathroll from a friend, and lo and behold, sucky album with one awesome fucking song. Sixpounder. But Follow the Reaper I noticed had much more of a keyboard and psuedo black metal feel to it than the latter.

But yes, they both sucked, but they are creative in suckiness.

Actually Hatebreeder and Follow The Reaper are fairly solid Power/Speed Metal with too much fucking keyboard, nothing more. Then on the later stuff they started slowing down and adding industrial elements and started sucking worse. Tey definitely are not the most stylistically consistent band, though, that's for damn sure.

I like CoB's sound except, I agree. They need to write a new album rather than rehashing the same one.
