Watched the Japanese Ring film tonight. A lot less scary than I thought, but damn that atmosphere is pure dread.

Checking out the new Joe Begos movie, some kinda alien horror splatterfest filmed entirely inside his house.

Looks like it could be fun. Been a long time since I saw a movie that offered a "no-holds-barred-splatter-bonanza". The trailer makes me think of Braindead (obviously), but also Tales from the Crypt Presents: Demon Knight, if anyone remembers that movie.

Yeah it ruled. If you like Braindead, Bad Taste, Evil Dead (especially part 2), Body Melt, Slime City and other splatter movies with an emphasis on physical comedy, you'll like Jimmy & Stiggs. Type of movie you invite people over and chuck on, it's only like an hour long and the pace is pretty much nonstop.

Probably my favorite movie that I've seen this year. I loved the behind the scenes stuff with Eli Roth and Joe Begos too.

Absolutely fucking mad the whole way through.
