Seriously though it doesn't bother me at all, circles where that is an indication of your worth (or 'status') are places I detest and scoff at when I come across, hence I've never felt any pressure from friends etc. Besides I'm pretty handicapped socially and can only talk to girls the same way as with guys, so the absense of sexual experience is pretty logical

Yes it is pretty weird, maybe it has something to do with the whole Feminist revolution? Now sex is a whole different arena; instead of affairs, mistresses, prostitutes-- we now have frigid young nuns, nymphos, unattractive women looking for anything, single mothers, etc. And its like a minefield trying to find one that is willing to have sex and a relationship; its usually one or the other. In my experience at least. Women now have most of the power, some things still work, but man they choose who they want.

My prob right now, is I have been cut off by my girlfriend in what I suppose is a attempt by her to trap me into commitment.

Sounds like you need a smart women to be your intellectual companion as much as a sex partner. Just an observation, which could be wrong.
