Power Blade on NES. Still one of my favourite games of all time. Plus the music is the best.

Twisted Metal:
This was actually the first game I played that was more modern than the NES games, it's quite a big step, and you can imagine how awestruck I was when a friend showed this to me.
OMG Shaq Fu...I rented that a few times...HILARIOUS.
There was this one game I played in like 98 on n64, which was somewhat similiar to twisted metal....you could drive trains, and tanks and you had to blow shit up or something like that.....
anyways, its very vague, BUT IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME.
