I just checked your profile and you are under 21, so it is plenty acceptable to drink Natty Ice still. :loco:
actually, I just met a guy who is 21 and he'll be able to buy me beer pretty much whenever, so I might be able to have some good beer around.

Really nice pics Ellestin. Do you live in the french chattau-and-fromage-post-card-country side, or do most of France looks as stunning? :loco:

Yeah, where do you live Ellestin? From the little I have seen of France, it does indeed have some stunning scenery. I am visiting in a few weeks for a holiday, looking forward to it.

The second hypothesis. Every corner of France has its specific type of landscapes and old architecture. For instance the Bretagne differs considerably from, say, the South Coast in terms of landscapes, climate, faune, culture and mentality. I'm rather fond of the axis reaching from the Pyrenean range and to the Central Massif, where lieth my area, which is actually fairly quiet and drawn back. It's beautiful and perfect for a sports-oriented kind of holiday with the many hills, rivers, forest tracks... but not especially privileged by your typical sightseeing tourist because we don't have the sea nor very high moutains, and also nothing spectacular happened here history-wise.

never been there. Want to, but I'm told it's almost impossible to enjoy anything when the place is abristle with tourists. Much like the glorious medieval city of Carcassonne which turns into an intolerable swarm of carelessness and mediocre mercantilism during the high season.

You should plan this kind of visit sometime in late Spring or early Autumn and pray for a mild weather. Dude, staring across the vast open sand reaches towards the Mont Saint-Michel under desolate skies of grey, listening to The Evpatoria Report. Yeah, let us die there together.
