I'd be willing to go back to China. It has some amazing landscapes which I only got the briefest taste of when going to the wall and the Ming tombs.

Edit: People might find these interesting. It's an old Taoist temple that was supposed to be like Taoist hell.

Argh, the blown-out sky in every single photo is driving me crazy! The places are awesome, but the painfully bright gray haze is so distracting. At first I was thinking to say "shoot your photos with the sun BEHIND you!" and all would be better, but now I've seen enough to think that the skies in Japan (and China) are just perpetually ugly, so it's probably not your fault. Have you ever seen an actual blue sky in your time there?

My area in Japan is pretty constantly cloudy. China was smoggy as hell and I think a little foggy too but it's hard to know where one begins and the other ends. It was also snowing at the wall when some of those pictures were taken.

This is probably as clear and blue as the sky ever got while I was in China.
