Reminds me of some of those awesome trees from my trip, but they didn't have carvings and walls sticking out of the roots

The amazing thing is that it's not a carving. That's a sandstone head that the Burmese knocked off a Buddha statue. That tree grew around it and has been slowly lifting it off the ground. Of course at the temple they say the tree is doing so because it believes the head should not be on the ground.

These are nothing special really, just some test shots with my new point & shoot, which is a very simple Canon Powershot A3000-IS. A crucial button on my ol' Sony broke. I can still force it to work if I tape it in place, but ehhh. It was time for something new. The Canon was on sale for super cheap at Wal-Mart, 89 buckaroos! Of course, these pictures look a lot better without the Photobucket rape.
