I keep wanting to buy a Jeep to escape to hidden nature, what I really should do is get a bike instead and do just that.

Cheaper, better, and more fulfilling. Plus I already have a roof rack thingy on my car, WTF is my god damn problem?

EDIT: Nope, that was the WRX with the roof thingy. My inobservance is legendary. Oh well I'll just get a Jeep anyhow.

It's cool because I've only owned the Mazda for 3 years, and after I posted that, I walked out to the garage to confirm, and said "hey, there's no roof rack!"

Technically speaking the WRX had rails, not a full rack. The Mazdaspeed doesn't have dick though, apparently I am visiting space as per usual. Wheeeeeee!

Racks are pretty god damn expensive too, I was thinking of getting a bike and a sweet rack to go with it before I head out to Colorado, the rack alone would have set me back 600$, probably 500$+ on a durable bike as well, might as well use the car

They are. I have one on my Outcrack that was $300 like 6 years ago. If it didn't already have crossrails, figure another $300
