I mean, we do have kettles, but I don't drink coffee from powder, and then I prefer it to be freshly ground, so a kettle alone is not enough imo. I could have a turkish coffee with just a kettle (iow ground beans with hot water poured on top) but that's not very good either, is it. The problem is the espresso machines are expensive as fuck. What we have at home now is an american styled coffee maker that uses the coffee filters and pushes the water through the freshly ground beans that's kind of nice, especially as you can make a lot of coffee in the morning and then continuously reheat it throughout the day. But we don't even have that at work.

Wife suggested making some good amount of coffee at work with this and bring it to work in a thermo flask or whatever you call them in your respective shitholes of the planet.

this morning i got some pants i ordered on amazon. cheapest chinese shit ive ever seen. i payed 30 bucks each and one wasnt even the same pair of pants that was advertised. they were supposed to be padded biker jeans but they ended up being the lowest quality generic ripped jeans ever that dont even fit.

the other pair ended up coming in a bag with a picture of a chinese kid on it. didnt look like the pants in the picture and some of the logos were in chinese and others were in really shitty english. looks like the shit the chinese exchange students at my old school wore

im sending them back...one wasnt even the right product and the other im gonna rip and say it came like that

the fucking usps is dicking around...i ordered a package from minnesota and next thing i know it gets shipped to san diego, then all the sudden its in norfolk va within 2 days, with no visible stops in between

This happens constantly. I've had packages get to the local post office in like 2 days and because I didn't pay for 2 day shipping, it goes back to the regional distribution center to wait 2 days until I receive it. Can they just privatize this shit already?

Let's not get until carrier who don't want to deliver packages so they mark them as 'customer requested pickup'. No, motherfucker, you deliver that shit to my house like I asked.

For the most part, I get packages on time. They occasionally fuck up on me and take an extra day to deliver something that should have been delivered that day (I fucking hate when it says "delivered" on tracking, only to find them deliver it the next day instead), but these incidents are infrequent enough where I can't complain.

at least it still came earlier than the original date. it came in the most sus looking packaging but whatever. it literally said "mystic juice" which is kind of sketchy because its illegal to send nicotine related products in general mail like that. it has to have a signature to confirm that the recipient is 21. luckily ive never ordered from a company that actually does that, most just send it discretely in first class mail. it could have gotten intercepted and got pretty fucked up

nah but its technically illegal in VA to send nicotine without a signature to prove the recipient is 21, and that only works with some types of mail luckily for me

now that i think about it im not sure how that would work considering most sellers are gonna be out of state. not sure if the sender would be liable or not. i know i would because they also made the laws in my state such that it is illegal to possess nicotine under 21. so it could still end badly for me if the package got intercepted. im sure its a misdemeanor so i wouldnt really be worried, its not like theyre actually gonna go through the trouble to track me down over some shit like that
