lol. it's plausible that this wasn't even an intentional burn but it's funny either way. song is cool anyway, it's a bit too metal-musicaly for my usual tastes but the vocal performance makes it work. 7/10

long time favourite of mine, terrific atmospheric tune. 9/10

as a shameless slayer fanboy i recall liking this band, but i'm not really feeling this. 6/10

i always previously compared them with countess, but it's reminding me more of immortal this time round, and much like later immortal, it's enjoyable without being particularly exciting. obviously CiG was gonna dislike this, the drum sound is fucking terrible lol. i love this kind of production though, esp. the vocals. 7/10

Feels 'airy' somehow, or something, I'm not good music words person but that's the feeling I get from the quiet verses, the sustained guitar chords in the pre-chorus and the simple, clear chorus melody. It's a song I'll always remember for its particular vibe more than anything.

Never heard this Mayhem album. This was better than I thought it was going to be. Short enough to not become annoying. Vocals aren't great.
