Barathrum - Dark Sorceress (Autumn Siege)
ahhh yes, an oft forgotten staple of the pompey canon. doesn't do a ton for me though, i know the stripped down simplicity is meant to be the point but more often than not sparse doomy black metal stuff leaves me cold (see also: a lot of classic varathron), i just need more going on. i do like the opening section but even then it's just manowar with shittier vocals. 6/10

Proud to be the resident Barathrum fan, but also sad they're so unloved that it's a dead giveaway that it was my pick.

so just to confirm, the new theme is songs arg would like?

In the wise words of @Opeth17 "Cigga please" that ain't the fuckin' theme.

The new theme is.....
Perhaps in honour of Baroque the next theme should be antifa anthems. :D
That's right!

Anti-Nazism / Antifascism
(Songs covering WW2 from the allied's perspective to more modern Antifa-themed metal.)

Yeah anything opposing fascism regardless of the ideological angle. Ultimately it's up to interpretation and if it doesn't fit, people's ratings will reflect that.

That said, I don't think a leftist song about feminism or some shit would fit lol.

I don't know if it has already been submitted, but there is one song on Anacrusis' debut which fits this topic. And one song on Helstar's third album also qualifies IMO.

there’s also a song by a certain german band kiwi david stans for.

you can search MA by lyrical themes btw, surprisingly helpful for this one.
