Was alright. Reminds of a more chaotic/lo-fi Destroyer 666.
Spectral Wound - Black Satanic Glamour 8/10
Song seems like it could be great, but overly muffled production really hurts the potential. Found a better version on Youtube that sounds much better. Changed it from a 6 to and 8 based on the not-shitty version.
Gama Bomb - Give Me Leather 9/10
Didn't like it at first, but this really grows on ya!
A Forest of Stars - Children of the Night Soil 6/10
Every time I've tried this band the instrumentation kicks my ass but that vocalist ruins it. It's not even his voice so much as the croning style.
Lovebites - Rising 5/10
I'm normally not a fan of female vocals in metal but these are okay. That said, way too bright and bubbly power metal style on the instrumentation.
Azath - Bonecaster 5/10
Eh. Can't critique it really, just not my thing.
Amorphia - Necromancers 3/10
One of those thrash bands that lean way too hard into the punk-ish vocal style. Meh.
Sulphur Aeon - The Summoning of Nyarlathotep 10/10
Love me some atmospheric death of this style. Only gripe with the band IMO is they tend to have a mix of killer and filler. Thankfully this was one of the former.

Thought my pick would have done a bit better. As I already said, I’m not huge on the vocalist, but everything else is pretty good imo. Definitely looking forward to a full length from them.
