Skip to 0:50, if you don't hear Gothenburg in that riff you're deaf
shit you don't even have to skip to :50 the opening riff is enough
Skip to 0:50, if you don't hear Gothenburg in that riff you're deaf
plying ability=/= talent? are you okay?
Manowar in rags = Viking era Bathory
Skip to 0:50, if you don't hear Gothenburg in that riff you're deaf
is that why you also happened to quote the part where i said "they are far more talented"? Slow down before quoting and responding next time, dude.I was mocking you calling Manowar posuers. Slow down and take the words in dude.
i think talent is just someone's natural aptitude for something. any hack can sit around and learn to "shred" or w/e
Do you see melodeath anywhere? Did anyone say they dont have melody? oh that's right, i even pointed out that they do. IN HATRED'S FLAMES IS MELODEATH!
Dude, i dont know what you seem to be having trouble with. mort and HBB said In Hatred's Flame is a melodeath album. All that does is imply that they have never really listened to that album. And for the hundredth time melody=/=melodaeth/gothenburg. Are you saying that album is a melodaeth album too? They have enough emphasis on melody to warrant its reference in its genre. I don't see Iron Maiden being called melodic heavy metal.
Are you saying that album is a melodaeth album too?
So what the fuck are you arguing with me about? I said that album is not a melodeath album, that's all.I'd probably call it melodic death/thrash.
So what the fuck are you arguing with me about? I said that album is not a melodeath album, that's all.
And it's technical thrash first and foremost so you would have to switch that around. And you wouldn't use technical to describe them?have you even listened to the band or that album?
Why are all of the posts in this board arguments? It's supposed to be a metal site.

... so again, what is it that you are arguing with me about? Is that album a melodeath album? Yes or no. Or maybe you missed the numerous posts where i pointed out that they clearly are melodic?Hug it out bro. [rainbow.jpg]
I have yes. Their first album is the only one I actually own.
That first record sounds like a technical thrash band extremely influenced by melodic death metal.
I'm saying you can't say there is no melodeath in that first album, you brushed it off as some melody and I don't think that's an accurate description of the album.
