If you're all so convinced that demonspyre's opinions are so "sickening" and "hateful" then by all means I'd love to see them driven into the ground with cold hard facts. Alas, none of that is happening.

Why? There is just as much factual evidence to prove as there is to disprove this stuff. Then again I think that this kind of topic is pretty useless with science and quantifiable tidbits. For example, the whole "whites invented the printing press and carry written tradition, Africans don't." First, this assumes that written is somehow superior to oral history, second it ignores the fact that maybe those native African tribes don't give two shits whether their history is recorded, because they just might be smart enough to realize that humanity means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of the universe.

People rely too much on the inherently flawed system that is science. Why? Because a fact or truth today can be stood on its head tomorrow with one minor little study. People think there is a finite answer to everything if you can attach a number to it, and it just doesn't happen.

One other thing - as someone who applauds Darwin for his work, and has been intrigued by the double helix findings of DNA labelling/structures (PROVING that DNA structure is identical in ALL human beings), I can guarantee you that there is NO sub-species within the human race. Everyone may look different, but that's as far as it goes.

Aesthetics are worth shit in my book when it comes to judging people. People will find that they get a lot further in life (sociological environment) recognizing that. I don't particularly see the need to create silos, either across races or even within.

The point of debating is to learn another point of view, and maybe even change your opinion on something you once held dear, as your own little truth. No I didn't. I said there are just as many facts to prove as to disprove his point, I didn't say they were wrong. My point is that you can line up all the facts you want on both sides, but neither proves one side right or wrong. I happen to think that there is no superior race, but can I prove it, no matter how many little tidbits I have? Nope.

This was one little fact to show whites were superior and / or black were inferior, yes? Or was it just saying "here's the truth, take it as what you will."? I read it the other day and don't recall, but the 100 fact things in the context used here was to show white superiority.

I'd rather rely on science than something which has no base in anything anywhere. You know, I really do think the earth is round rather than flat, for example. If it was proved tomorrow that it was really banana-shaped then I'd probably change my view. Science is what makes humanity progress you know. While imperfect I place my trust in it because it's better than the alternatives.

You illustrate my point perfectly. Everyone knows the world is round because it is so. But that could be disproved tomorrow, and since its science, everyone would be okay with that. Scienceis not much more reliable than shit made up on the fly.

Okay. My bit on the Africans was attacking these facts in the context used (and more playing devil's advocate than anything). Either way, this point is onto semantics now, I think we're on the same page: here's some figures, do what you want with them.

Re science: Sure, but what's wrong with believing in something until it's disproven?

Nothing, in fact I probably rely on it as often as I don't. But a lot of people (and I'm not saying you are one of them necessarily) rely far too heavily on science and start trying to prove their favorite color is scientifically the best, or even musical superiority by looking at the tabs. Long story short, you can't quantify everything.

1) There are different human races
2) Each race has different traits
3) Interbreeding the races will produce mediocre offspring with distinguishing features of both races weakened
4) No race is inherently superior to another, nor is an individual of one race "worth" more than another.
5) Extension of 4: human "worth" is a flawed concept. The "worth" of a human being can NEVER be measured objectively.

I agree with all these except #3, because I find half-white / half-black and half-white / half-Asian people to be some of the most attractive people around, so I can't call them mediocre.

I will say something though - I draw experience from real life, and I've lived a fuller life than most people here. That's what made it more shocking to find that this person is 40. I don't know demonspyre and I won't pretend to. But I've witnessed this type of behavior before, and I've learned my lessons from those experiences. demonspyre is most likely one of the people whose whole life is wrapped up in this ideology. He's probably constantly debating this subject, and subsequently has his sources readily available. Just because he can quote a study, means very little.

The reason that the folks who disagree with him aren't as quick to post references to back up their beliefs is, we simply don't have the time. For us to offer a similar counter-argument would take hours and hours to put together. And what fruit would it bear? Do you honestly believe that if any of us listed out a hundred facts, to completely contradict everything he has said, he'd care? Or that he'd change his mind? No, he wouldn't. So why would bother? I have friends from all races, cultures, religions, etc. and no what's true and what's false from living my life. So, I don't give a flying fuck what his "facts" say. I know they're false, just as certainly as I know the sky is blue and that the sun will rise tomorrow. If you choose to see that as a failure on my part, that's your call.

Bah, i had this longwinded post earlier this morning and then my internet crapped out so i'll just say what matters to me and give you guys the short version.. People have different ways of thinking but if i don't agree with what you say doesn't mean i'm gonna tear your head off and shit down your neck. I try to respect other peoples opinions despite whether i agree or not as long as i don't get trod upon personally by said thoughts/beliefs. Also i don't care what was said after things went off topic about races and this and that and the other. The world is shitty, most people i don't care for anyway. Whether they be white, black, yellow, purple, green, orange, hot pink, catholic, baptist, christian, pagan, spiritual, buddhist, jewish, etc... As was stated before, assholes come in all shapes, sizes and colors and there are far too many as far as i'm concerned. My belief is this: Treat others as you would have them treat you. It's that simple for me. Ultimately i just wish people would show a little more tolerance and not be so quick to attack others, in all aspects of life. Because of that mentality it's no wonder the world is in the state it is currently in (Well then you have the whole greed business as well).
