Agreed, especially considering the history of the area with its highly wonderous Dynasties and self sufficiency more or less. The with the intervention of western Europe along with Christianity with it's overbearing will to preach conversion and a spiral down from there into a more, i guess, modernized and less innovative community. *shrug* History is not my forté so i'm grasping here.

And I've seen it on this forum, but how is calling someone a Jew considered an insult?

I just wanna address this quickly and crudely cos I got work to be doing...but you'd understand what gentiles (or goyim as we're sometimes affectionately known as ) have against Jews when you see what they have against us. Go read the Talmund, I'll try and dig up some quotes for you later tonight.
See also my contribution to the "kill all muslims" thread on the Billy Milano forum - I'll dig that up again later as well. Read a newspaper every now and then and see how much terrorism is commited by Jews in Israel (come on, did I have to dig up that old chesnut again?) that results in the West having swarms of Muslim terrorists strutting their stuff over here.

My two cents coming from a personal perspective.

I am white. White as they come. Blonde, light eyes, Eastern European. My friends here in NY consist of an Indian married to a Chinese woman, a Russian jew dating a Peruvian girl, a korean girl married to a Ecuadorian guy, an African American guy engaged to an Italian woman, a Czech girl dating an Israeli Jew and living in Japan and on and on ...

What is my point? I am not sure ... but I guess that all these people make my life better. I learned a lot of stuff from them and love the fact that they are open minded and we all get along and want to make a better life for the next generation.

What I noticed is that most racism comes out of places that are not diverse and somewhat closed of from the rest of the world. Living in NY as I do, it is impossible to be racist. The thing I love about this place is that everyone here, has come here with one goal in mind. To make a better life ... everything else is second.

The odd thing is, is that I have come to resent some people from own part of the world. Recent encounters with them has really put into perspective how hateful they are and closed minded. Even some of them living in NY stay within their own circles and do not expand their social circles beyond their own nationality. Why are you in the USA? Is what I ask them ...

Anyway, just some random thoughts.

Exactly. And I guess this is exactly what frustrates me, because no one knows why this particular race of people is constantly picked on. No one knows why they are hated so much. It can't be because of Jesus, because the Egyptians had them in slavery hundreds of years before Jesus.

The thing about the jews which makes them alright with me, is that they don't have Jesus, which is the sole reason why Christians try to push their shit onto everyone else. Since their doctrine tells them: "If you don't take Jesus into your heart, you're going to hell. No exceptions" and since their religion is supposedly so compassionate and caring, they try to convert everyone they can, because they want to save every soul from damnation in the lake of fire and brimstone. Thus, Christians are a bunch of intrusive bitches and will stop at nothing to "save your soul". Jews = No Jesus. They keep to themselves (Ignoring all current Middle-East politics) and thats fine and dandy with me.

Well, the Jews do "have" Jesus. He was Jewish, after all. They simply don't believe he was the Son of God. They believe he was a prophet, similar to Moses or Elijah. This is the main reason the do not believe in the New Testament.

And I've said it before, but I've got to ask, where the fuck do you people live that these mean ol' Christians are constantly trying to save your soul? You people make it sound like they're waiting outside your front door when you go to work.

In my 26 years, I've been approached by probably 4 or 5 individuals that actually want to have a conversation and "save my soul". That's it.

This as caused problems over the centuries (most obvious being palestinian conflict and so on) while on tehse journeys they spread the word of God and so on, other cultures see this as a threat, because they have no place to stay and they are more or less preaching all the time. Cultures see this as a threat, because they are trying to convert them and think they have the intention of destroying their culture.

That is why we see a large influx of hatred for the jewish people (ESPECIALLY middle-eastern because it was their large roaming grounds). This is one of the largest reasons why they are hated, then the leaders of the cultures come up with stuff such as "they steal are money and are cheap" to get other people to hate them.

The whole "Jews are cheap" thing never made sense. I've never heard a of a study that concluded that most money thefts were made by Jews. As far as being cheap, well, look around. Don't we all have savings accounts? Do we always buy $3,000 suits and I sure as hell hope you bought that fully loaded Mercedes.

As far as the cheap stereotype goes, I believe that stems from the fact that Jewish people instituted the system of interest on loans, I want to say around the 14th century but I could be way off. Either way I do know the Catholic church condemned laying interest on any borrowed sum, but obviously interest is how the world is run nowadays.

Thanks for that nomadic bit HarmonyDies.... that explains why people hate gypsies, Kurds, and other nomadic peoples.

Either way I do know the Catholic church condemned laying interest on any borrowed sum, but obviously interest is how the world is run nowadays.

People are taking the Jew slang (however politically incorrect it might be, but around these parts, who gives a shit) and trying to form reason out of it. There isn't much, other than the fact that it's just become a part of day-to-day vocabulary.

The other day I was watching "Crank Yankers" where some daft old grannie had inherited a parrot that kept screaming obscentities, one of which was "dirty jew! dirty jew!". This is hysterical to me, no further logic is required.

NAD has essentially pointed out the entire thesis behind Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice. Hasn't anybody heard the term/name, "Shylock"? He was the main character in Merchant of Venice, he was a Jew, and he wanted a loan to be repayed. When the man could not pay, he demanded a pound of flesh. This was recently played upon in the movie, "Seven".

Any other hatred towards Jews today stems from their unwanted existence in the middle-east, and the unilateral support they get from the USA.
