Penance and a few other more obscure Maryland bands seem to be constantly neglected. Doom has been pretty quiet lately, I think 40 Watt Sun is supposed to release something soon.

Tarot's "Reflections" just screams Pagan Altar. Delicious solos over those kind of whiny vocals and lots of keys. Not sure about "Warrior's Spell"

The compilation, blew me away from the get go, not this new one unfortunately, and I agree with the above this new album is far more straightforward 70s Rock sadly. Still a cool release but I'm a bit disappointed TBH.
