I remember I knew someone in school when I was 12/13 who was into Pantera. He made me listen to "I'm Broken" and I couldn't understand how someone could enjoy such vocals. How opinions change! I still think Phil is a pretty bad vocalist, though.



He's clearly no David Vincent.

I'm actually not even that into them, but there's no denying they spawned a certain new "tough guy" genre of southern metal, and I greatly enjoy a number of successors.
