Update 17/6

Dutch, European or American television, they're all equally lame if you ask me. Commercials piss me off, sometimes when I want to watch a show I just tape it so I can fast-forward through them :)

Haha, no. All americans aren't idiots. See, like yourself and a few other members on these forums, most americans are just ignorant and bored. This causes them to do silly things, like waste a whole lot of time in front of a monitor. So, I guess staring at a computer monitor for hours on end makes you a better person? And bashing an entire country, filled with millions of different people of whom you know nothing about, makes your arguments valid? It's no wonder why I rarely come here to read about new Vintersorg stuff...theirs no control over these threads.

"This causes them to do silly things"
I suppose this also includes intentionally making spelling errors?

am i justified, right???

what i really think is that people only have to calm down a little bit.
it seems to me that people joins forums just to quarrel and exchange insults.
so often people forgets that we are here just to talk, share views, make questions and stay friendly together. i really don't know why people logs in with a such aggressive mood. i start to suspect they like to quarrel or they don't have anything more important in life to come here and argue with unknown people.
i'm here to enjoy, nothing more.
and above all i think people must not forget that it's really easy to misunderstood other people's speeches in the web, and if add the language problem, for who like me aren't english mothertongues, the damage is done. another important fact to me is that people from different places of the world have different ways to express theirselves, someone can be more direct, someone more ironic, someone more serious or cold, i think everyone must do a sort of "tare" about what people say considering all the variables (origin, language, temper)
for example we italians use a lot of swear words or offensive words, i've no problem to say to a friend "stupid, idiot, deficient, or whatever" , so before judge, if someone have a doubt about my speech he can peacefully ask before being offensive or rude. this is the way i talk, if someone doesn't like it i cannot do anything about it, it's me, i'm made this way, and i don't want to change my personality, but surely i can give answers and explanations if asked.

Oh my, we've gone so far of topic we've actually come round the other side and ended up where we started? This must be a new record for this forum!
Hopefully this means there will soon be a new update or something (here's hoping :) )

Since the info loop is done, a new update must be delivered!

It seems that he finished to record the bass tracks for the new album, now he's on the mixing process.

His words; "Mix mode: sounds vital" (Source: Fb).

Does anyone know what the deal is as far as drums go? As much as I appreciate Mr. V's talents in drum programming, I got spoiled when Asgeir was involved. Live drums simply work better for progressive music, at least in my opinion. I would love another "Visions".

He's said in the past that Benny will be doing the drumming. This happened the last time I invoked the unholy name of Asgeir Mickelson.

Well, I gotta say that I loved the records with Digiorgio and Mickelson, personally. I thought it was an amazing way to go and I'm bummed that they stopped being involved.

It certainly was amazing.

Let's hope Mr. V has enough time to get Benny on the record, his drumming was quite impressive on Pain Parade (solid and slightly technical).

mr V we need an update!

forummers are lurking in the dark...

we're mixing the album at this point...will be completed quite soon I guess...but as we're only working on it during the weekends it take some time.

can we know something about the style of the upcoming album? i think i haven't heard anything about this from you yet. will the album be more folk or prog oriented? the swedish lyrics make me hope for something folkish but still progressive like solens, am i right? i hope so :p

Marvellous!!! :headbang:

Can we expect some samples, like, now? :D

Yeah, the lyrics are in Swedish. Like you, I'm really wondering what the artwork is like, and the style too. I really like Solens Rötter, so I guess the natural progression would be to do something different :p .

we all know there will not be a solens rotter part II
"Paganini non ripete" ("Paganini does not repeat", he was a famous violinist who loved to improvise) is a popular saying that refers to someone with the gift of brilliance who never does the same thing for a second time :p
what i meant to ask was obviously if the style of the new album is going to be similar (a progression of course, but with some roots in the past) to the previous one, or something really different and unexpected

That's what I meant too. And I love Paganini, pure genius. I can hear his tunes in my head now, the devil playing!

Back on topic, I'd love to hear a small sample. Pleeeeaaaaaseee? :D

Did Andreas put some samples online for an upcoming album even once? I can't remember if that happened.

I hope the mixing will be finished soon, then the mastering more the whole other processes...I hope we can see this album released at the end of the year.
