USA vs Europe

I agree that this whole 'American culture sucks' sentiment is pretty unfair and kind of dumb. Nevertheless, I'm not sure how it is in other countries but I get the feeling that the US beats most other countries in terms of mind-numbingly idiotic television programming. I've been to other countries and seen some dumb television over there but we have some really fucking stupid shit over here. It's quite embarrassing.

Anyway, most of my favorite things are European in origin. Music, literature, film, art, etc.

American consumers are the first to get all the cutting edge technology.

That's not true.

Not true at all.

Japan is the place that has all the cool shit before we do (including vending machines that sell the used underpants of young girls, except we'll probably never have those). :erk::ill::zombie:

japan comes out with the craziest stuff. and their vending machines do rule. they sell hot soup and coffee in those things. and the drinks are larger. well, some of em are.

ive ever heard rumors of some of em selling beer!

Have you seen the BBC? :puke:

The reason the US makes the most bad TV is because we make the most TV period.

America has Chuck Norris, Harrison Ford, Roger Staubach, and Stephen Segal, so Europe doesnt have any kind of arguement at all. that is the quadfecta of manliness/asskicking.

Vending machines that dispense coffee are nothing new. There's one at the bowling alley near my former hometown that's from like the 70's. It's pretty neat, it spits out a cup and it pours in the coffee itself and always knows the right amount.

Yeah, but will that same vending machine give you used underwear if you ask for it?

Damn you Japan
