This is a good thread.

In response to the open or close mindedness of metalers, I find this mainly to be true only of those who claim Black and Death metal as their true love. Most of these folks can't even talk about another style of music. It's quite frustrating, especially when they ask you to be open-minded.

I will always love metal but I also love Motown, trance, hard house, ambient, shoegazer. sadcore, old blues, old jazz blues, tons of cool 70's prog, you name it....
