Are you going to MDF 2010?

The fact that you don't even get why everyone was annoyed by you is more proof that you are annoying. That is all I will say on the subject.

No, I understand exactly why everyone was annoyed by me. I just happen to not really care. Also why I said in my first post in this thread, "I'll probably end up giving you guys a break and stay in a different room with some other people."

That's actually the rule in most hotels, it's more a matter of how strictly they enforce it. It's mostly because if you have too many people in a room, it's considered a fire hazard. We get people who lie at the hotel I work at once in awhile; our biggest suite is pretty huge but not really for 8 people.

Ok cool, thanks for the clarification.

That was a miscalculation, actually.

Here is my schedule:

Domestic flight from Melbourne to Sydney, then international to Los Angeles on 25th May. Cost: US $1305, includes return on 1st June.

Domestic flight from Los Angeles to Baltimore on 26th May with American Airlines. Cost: US $136, includes return on 1st June.

Taxi from Baltimore airport to whatever hotel we are staying at. Cost: Unknown

Get into the show itself. Cost: US $130

Food, booze etc. Cost: I'd say about US $70

TOTAL: US $1641

Actually, that'll probably be a good idea to share a room. I'm under 21, so I'll make all the necessary arrangements to fit that. What are the prices for the hotel by night?

Also, remember I'm undecided at this stage, so don't put me down for a permanent arrangement.

EDIT: Actually, to save some dough, can any of you kind men who are driving there pick me up from the airport? That'll save a lot of cash on my side, as I'm already spending shitloads. (Please!)

Jesus, $1305 for plane tickets... I'd never spend anywhere near that much for a music event, never mind the $250+ in other expenses. Your call though.

You'd probably pay $20 to $22 USD per night sharing a room with us. Hotel costs are one of your lesser concerns.

According to the Deathfest site:
"If you're flying to Baltimore and are looking for a cheap way to reach the downtown area, the light rail departs from BWI airport and the cost is $1.60 one way."

I'd look into that just because $1.60 is dirt cheap and it makes it more convenient for the rest of us (by that I mean me, the designated airport chauffeur of the past two years since I drive in from the south).

Cheers Grant, that sounds like a good idea. I also remembered that I'll need some cash for merch, because I imagine it'll be rather expensive.

I'm still debating whether or not I should go.

You do know about the Raddisson MDF deal going on right? If you just type MDF in the coupon thing when you book at the Raddisson, you can get all 3 nights for $109. IDK if they have a suite package deal or anything going on there. from what I've seen, the Tremont has raised its prices considerably. So that is a possibility to think

And no, I haven't booket our hotel room. When Addo and I go we are probably going to bring 1-2 extra people. So me, Addo, and 2 more friends. I just wanted to make sure this won't be a problem to anyone.

If I was gonna blow that much on a music event, it would be Walken.

BTW WAIF, it's Wacken
