I bought three day passes for a friend of a friend last year about a week or two before the fest iirc. They'll certainly sell out in less time this year, but I really wouldn't worry about it for a while. If tickets even become remotely scarce there will be posts about it out the ass all over the interwebs.

My girlfriend is ordering a three day pass on Tuesday and she is nervous as shit about it selling out.

My theory is that it probably won't sell out until a good 3 months before the show and it's not even January yet

I wouldn't be worried about it even getting close to selling out before February. Either way, I ordered my 3 day passes so they should be in soon enough. Tbh, 3 passes probably won't even sell-out until the month of and that's even if they do.
