Ironically enough, this actually fits in perfectly; 2 days after my half-year exams, so it'll be a nice cool-off. If I can manage to accumulate the cash for a plane ticket, visa for the U.S and hotel/booze costs etc., I will most likely be attending. I will get back to you gents about this as events unfold.

The drinking age is 21 in the U.S, right? Damn, I guess I'll have to bring some and pay the duty tax.

So yeah, I just did some calculations and it will cost me $4,500 for plane, concert and hotel. Fuck my life.

I kept track of all my expenditures last time and the grand total came out to about $395. I also brought a good deal of alcohol with me, so I could have easily spent a good $40+ less there. On the other hand, I was pretty frugal in buying merch, spending less than $40 total I think, whereas some people were spending hundreds on merch.

The date is May 28th to 30th (Friday to Sunday), and as I said I'm encouraging people to show up on Thursday the 27th for extra hangout time. The event's website is here: http://www.supremebrutality.com/

I knew you'd come through on the numbers. That really doesn't sound so bad; I'd be willing to spend more if I decide to go.

Having looked at the line-up I must say, I want to go. The thing is that a three day festival could be a little intense. I went to the first two days of the New England Hardcore and Metal Festival year before last and it was pretty draining. Of course, I did spend the entire first day in the front row, but on the other hand I didn't drink at all; if I go to this I'm definitely drinking.

Fuck it. I'll go. Probably. I want to go.

That puts a really fucked up image in my mind. Please don't ever say that again.

That was a miscalculation, actually.

Here is my schedule:

Domestic flight from Melbourne to Sydney, then international to Los Angeles on 25th May. Cost: US $1305, includes return on 1st June.

Domestic flight from Los Angeles to Baltimore on 26th May with American Airlines. Cost: US $136, includes return on 1st June.

Taxi from Baltimore airport to whatever hotel we are staying at. Cost: Unknown

Get into the show itself. Cost: US $130

Food, booze etc. Cost: I'd say about US $70

TOTAL: US $1641



Actually, that'll probably be a good idea to share a room. I'm under 21, so I'll make all the necessary arrangements to fit that. What are the prices for the hotel by night?

Also, remember I'm undecided at this stage, so don't put me down for a permanent arrangement.

EDIT: Actually, to save some dough, can any of you kind men who are driving there pick me up from the airport? That'll save a lot of cash on my side, as I'm already spending shitloads. (Please!)
