Yeah uh Sonata Arctica and Kamelot don't really do that and the fact that you just said Dragonforce have "guts" in any respect is pretty funny. Wintersun is definitely a prime example of what you stated though, but I don't think including other bands in your generalization (

I just wanted to address your criticism under the supposition that I attacked them because they're "not black or death metal." I can guarantee you that I listen to more clean-vocal styled metal than pretty much anyone else on this forum, or at least most. I don't think Sonata Arctica is a wart on the dick of metal because they're not "XTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM," but rather because they're just fucking shit. They're flowery fucking bullshit pop faggotry. If you want an idea of what kind of sounds I identify with power metal, look into classic US bands like Attacker, Griffin, Omen, Satan's Host, Titan Force, Chozzen Phate, Salem Spade, Syrus, King's Ransom, Helstar, Fates Warning, and other bands of that calibre.
Finally, for the record, all I did in this thread was state my opinion. I was the one who was attacked based on my opinion of Wintersun, not the other way around, including by yourself. So wouldn't that make you the elitist? Or did I just blow your fucking mind?

I never said nor expressed sentiment to the effect that I believed I was better than anybody else based on the criteria of whether or not they like Wintersun. I'm not even going to dignify the rest of your post.
I don't get it. I don't get why I get under your skin so much. Is it because I showed that Tales of Medusa is an actual band and you're upset that you can't hear them? I really think you should work on not being annoyed by a person on the internet to the point where you get angry whenever they say something negative about a band you like. Wintersun sounds to me like a shallow, plastic and cheesy try at being epic. there is no depth, no spirit in Jari's music. at least not on the debut album.

I like Wintersun, the first album is not perfect, but displays some cool moments. One thing is for sure about Wintersun, they are some slow motherfuckers when making records.
