words only mike knows

^ It is a real word. 'Perplexity' might have been what he was lookin for, but 'perplexion' sounds better.
 
"soliloquies" seems to me to be a pretty uncommon word. Mike uses it in BWP: "Dying men in bewildered soliloquys". I always wondered what it was ... sounded like a flower's name to me. Now I know better: It means "dramatic monologue".
 
Glid is a word, you beautiful nongs. It means to move a bit slowly without your feet look.
 
I checked dictionary. com just to be sure, and GLID had an entry in the acronym finder:

So we now know that 'shadows glid the archways' means 'shadows Guidance Laser Illumination Deviced the archways'. Makes perfect sense.
