means but I've been wondering if there's anything to back these up: "Alexi knows Karate", "He has several Black Belts", etc. Seeing as they have been floating around.

It's logical that self-defense is taught to people like this. They would need a personal trainer and would not have much time to practise, and all the little time they'd be hungover. Such big ranks make that claim total bollocks, though. But it would explain the broken wrists, ribs and toes.. if the cause of the accidents were just put in light of the band's public image. Nice theory, heh.. It feels like Alexi has done an hour of karate often before he goes on stage, all the charisma and all the moving. His self-confidence these days impresses me.

You couldn't believe it from Laiho because mostly he behaves like an animal. But I remark many black belters etc don't show their self-control and seem very relaxed.

Alexi just seems like a person who would rather make jokes about martial arts.
